Brand new, uninked letterpress wood type printing blocks CNC milled from end grain beech.
Typeface
‘Profil’ was originally designed by Max Lenz along with his brother Eugen Lenz in 1946-1947. Associated in the late 40s and 50s with Haas. Profil is a set of inclined rimmed characters.
Materials
End grain beech hardwood finely sanded to type height. Each block is finished with shellac and polished with fine steel wool for a smooth print surface.

Default type height is 23.32mm / 0.918” with a tolerance of 0.07mm along the end grain and relief depth of 2.5mm.
