Product Description

Brand new, uninked letterpress wood type printing blocks CNC milled from end grain beech.

Typeface
Corbitt was originally designed by Nicholas J. Warner and issued as a metal typeface by the Inland Foundry in 1900. The typeface is characterized by a blend of thick and thin strokes with very small serifs.

Materials

End grain beech hardwood finely sanded to type height. Each block is finished with shellac and polished with fine steel wool for a smooth print surface.

Default type height is 23.32mm / 0.918” with a tolerance of 0.07mm along the end grain and relief depth of 2.5mm. Please contact us if you want a different scheme, line size, relief depth or type height, e.g. European type height (23.56mm).

Shipping

We welcome domestic and international orders. UK orders will be sent via Royal Mail’s Insured Special Delivery service. International orders will be sent with UPS or via the most relevant courier. Import duties, customs fees and local taxes are to be paid by the receiver.
